Austin, Texas based duo The Ghost Wolves met 5 years ago at a local music festival and have been an inseparable creative force ever since. To this pair of 20-something year old musicians, Rock & Roll is an intangible spirit, an expression of freedom more than a binding genre. With nearly 1000 shows in 13 countries and one full length record release under their belt, this young act is developing a massive sound very much their own - equal parts punk rock, blues spiritual, pop, noise, glam and death-western. 

A one string guitar and minimalist drums lay the foundation of their second full length album, TEXA$ PLATINUM, a 14 track LP available on German label Hound Gawd! records this summer. Produced by Mike McCarthy (Trail Of Dead, Spoon) in Austin, Texas, this sophomore release captures the duo rapidly expanding their horizons and exploring the depths of their dynamic range. The record equal parts explosive and mysterious, the band shifting gears effortlessly between bombastic fuzz guitar riffs, acoustic cuts and slow-burning muddy blues grooves, a genre bending experience entirely their own.
